Premiere VIP Red Carpet Screening of REDLIGHT with Q&A & Charity Event

The evening was presented by Priority Films in partnership with LexisNexis to benefit RedLight Children and Restore NYC. The premiere was attended by nearly 1,000 people, and the film received glowing reviews.
The event began at 6:00 PM on Monday, June 21st 2010, at the SVA Theater, located at 333 West 23rd Street in New York City with the World Premier Red-Carpet Screening of REDLIGHT, an inspiring and powerful documentary, produced and narrated by UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador Lucy Liu exposing the global epidemic of child sexual exploitation.
The screening was followed by a Q&A session featuring, Nobel Peace Prize nominee Mu Sochua; the Filmmakers Guy Jacobson and Adi Ezroni who both won the prestigious U.S. State Department’s Global Hero Award; and Dr. Susan Bissell, UNICEF’s Global Chief of Child Protection. After the screening, there was a VIP reception at the CUE Gallery, located nearby at 511 West 25th Street.
The proceeds from this event was donated to RedLight Children and Restore NYC, both working tirelessly in the fight against human slavery. Event photos.
